In the world of fashion, there’s good taste, there’s bad taste, and there’s Hawaiian Shirts. These polyester troublemakers live in the closets of many guys, whether they will admit to it or not. Some guys will wear nothing but Hawaiian shirts, loud or otherwise. Traditionally, the Lord of the Luau is as colorful as possible, as is the Beach Bum, the Stoner surfer dude and the lowly Lambda nerd on holiday. Whatever your fashion sense, and whatever your taste in crazy floral prints, one thing is certain: A lot of people have an affinity for this Fun in the Sun style.
Avatar Bizarre has finally come out with the Mesh version of its “Spicolli” Hawaiian shirt, inspired partly by Jeff Spicolli of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, but also countless other pop culture icons including Don Ho (of Tiny Bubbles fame), Magnum PI, and even Robin Williams, who was known for wearing them in his standup act. The rigged mesh Hawaiian shirt from Avatar Bizarre comes in three different patterns: Palm Tree, Palm Frond, and the Ubiquitous tropical flower. It’s available in a dozen colors, as well, including two muted colors for the more faint of heart. Hey, even the more color conservative of us could use a Hawaiian shirt!
Each shirt comes with the standard five sizes, plus an alpha. In addition, you also get a system layer teeshirt (on the jacket layer). The mesh shirt, itself, is designed to fit over the AB Board Shorts. The shirt may fit over other types of mesh pants or shorts, but please try the demo before you buy this, just to be sure. All Avatar Bizarre demos are transfer, so you can send the demos to alts or friends.
There are many mesh avatars now available in Second Life and, while this shirt may fit some of them, there is no guarantee. So again, please try the demo first. AB Demos are always free.
