In Recent Gallop Polls – Female Dressage Suit

Avatar-Bizarre-Dressage-for-Women

I had made a Dressage outfit by request some time ago.  It was a partial mesh outfit – really just the rigged coat, plus a hat and cravat.  The rest was all system layer clothing.  At the time, it was only available for male avatars, but as my skill in mesh modeling has grown, so has the selection at Avatar Bizarre.  I was recently asked if I could make a female version of this outfit and, like all so-called “easy” projects, this just sort of spiraled into a major undertaking involving lasers, duct tape, a disused space station, and a fractal black hole.

Not only did the female version happen, but SLink and Omega clothing appliers were added for the system layers, so mesh body enthusiasts can throw on a Dressage outfit.  To make this even more up to date and amazing, the coat is now on a color change HUD and includes all eight colors previously available for this outfit.  What would you pay for such a fine set of Ginsu knives?  Don’t call yet, because there’s more!  The original system layer pants were all black, but matched the suit color via piping down the outside leg.  Each color, plus a plain white pant is included in the SLink and Omega HUDs.  For those die hards who don’t wear mesh bodies, there’s a fine collection of system layer pants (on the underpant layer) in all colors.  The shirt (white) and gloves (black) are on the HUDs and are included as system layers as well.  Completing this set are the unrigged hat and cravat, and coat alpha.

Just to make it even more fun, there are six sizes in the collection, including a flat chested femboy size (for femboys, child avatars, and furries).

Then, because I’m not one to let a project go without fully embracing the improviness of it all, the male version was reuploaded for a better fit on the different male avatar sizes.  Of course the male version got the same treatment as the female version (noted in the previous blog post).

It’s exciting!  You can get this on the Marketplace for now.  Inworld access will happen very soon.

Because it’s fun to include the odd song lyric, have some Echo and the Bunnymen:

“Billy stands all alone
Sinking sand, skin and bone
Bring on the dancing horses
Wherever they may roam
Shiver and say the words
Of every lie you’ve heard” – Echo and the Bunnymen

Hot to Trot – Dressage

Avatar-Bizarre-Dressage-Rearing

If you’re in for a spot of horseback riding, Avatar Bizarre has you covered with this new, improved version of the Dressage outfit.  The original only came in Male, and had system layer pants and shirt.  The new, improved version is also available as Female (which includes a flat chested X Small coat).

Here’s what you get:
– Rigged mesh coat with color HUD (eight colors)- System layer pants (9 colors), plus system layer shirt and gloves
– Pant, shirt, and glove layers on SLink and OMEGA applier HUDs
– Unrigged hat
– Unrigged cravat
– Alpha

The Male version comes in five standard sizes.  The Female version comes in the standard five sizes, plus the flat chested X Small size for femboys, furries, and child avatars.  Try the demo first, though.

Avatar-Bizarre-Dressage---Rest-Stop

This should be released pretty soon.  I just need to finish uploading and scripting the female sizes.

Boots will be sold separately, and will include a color HUD.  They will not only be materials enhanced, but will come with rigged and unrigged boots.

When you’re hot to trot, this outfit will be ready and waiting for you in a few days.

Your Cheetah Heart

Avatar-Bizarre-Acinonyx-Legs-Teal

I guess you can call this number a sneak preview for now.  Even though I hadn’t exactly planned on it, I think it’s getting released at the next Hidden Sanctuary event, starting November 7.

What are these legs, you might ask?  Why, Acinonyx, of course!

Acinonyx is a genus of feline – it’s really just the cheetah, since all the other cats in the genus died off before the last ice age.  Acinonyx is Latin for “No move claw” which, I suppose, makes sense.  Cheetahs, unlike all other cats, do not have retractable claws.

The Acinonyx legs are a great way to be half a furry, if the mood strikes you.  Each package includes a male pair and a female/femboy pair. You also get ten skin tattoos for the default avatar.  But wait, there’s more!  In addition to the Ginsu knives that slice through tin cans and then slice easily through tomatoes (okay, just kidding on that one), you also get HUDs a-plenty.  There’s a color HUD for the legs, ears and tail.  There’s a SLink HUD for the tattoo layers, and an OMEGA HUD for non-SLink bodies.

Please note:  If you’re going to use OMEGA HUDs for things, make sure you head to the OMEGA store on the Marketplace and pick up the HUD thing for whichever body you happen to have, or the OMEGA HUD in the Acinonyx package will probably not work.

There’s a little instructional note card included that tells you in clear language just what you get and what to do with it.

The bits are all copy and modify (except the HUDs).  If you plan to do any editing on these things, please make a copy first.  Oh, and rigged legs cannot be resized or repositioned. They can only be tinted.  If there’s a color you like that isn’t included, simply tint the white leg color (and tattoo), and you’ll be set.

 Grabilla screen capture:

If I get sudden inspiration and time to make other things to the next event, these will likely be released a little sooner than November 7.  If not, then well…it’s not that long of a wait, I hope.

Obi One Kimono – Avatar Bizarre is Turning Japanese for 20Twenty

Avatar-Bizarre-Hibari-Kimono-Red

20Twenty is a monthly instore event that starts on the 20th of the month, runs for 20 days, and features exclusive items from 20 designers at 20% off the normal price.  This is a wonderful way to showcase some amazing designers, and Avatar Bizarre is happy to be included in the October edition of 20Twenty!

There is no theme for the event, but I decided it might be fun to make a Japanese kimono for this round.  There will be a couple of new kimonos available at Avatar Bizarre, and they cost 275L each, but the 20Twenty version on sale for 20% off will be the Hibari kimono, which features a pair of sparrows in the branches of a cherry tree.

The kimono comes in six sizes (5 female, and one flat chest femboy size), and includes an unrigged obi bow and a color HUD with several color choices.  It is materials enhanced, and should fit most mesh bodies with their included Alpha HUDS.  In fact, my model, pictured above, is wearing the Maitreya Mesh Body.

Avatar Bizarre Hibari Kimono

If my math is correct, 20% off 275L is roughly 220L.  While the Hibari is on sale, there are two other kimonos available (Ryu and Sakura), which will be full price.  All Kimonos come with their own color HUD.

Scary Monsters and Super Creeps – or How Hocus Pocus Made a Monster

Hocus Pocus 2015 Poster

“She had an horror of rooms
she was tired ”
you can’t hide beat
When I looked in her eyes they were blue but nobody home

She could’ve been a killer
if she didn’t walk the way she do,
and she do
She opened strange doors
that we’d never close again

She began to wail jealousies scream
Waiting at the light know what I mean” – Scary Monsters, David Bowie

Hocus Pocus is an instore event that’s sort of like a hunt, but isn’t a hunt.  The idea is for folks to show up in a participating store, and clock on the Ghost to see if they win a free thing. The Ghost will show a picture of the item being offered by the merchant.  If you poke him a little too hard, he may not give you the item.  If you poke him in ways he enjoys, then he’ll hand you a shiny new thing!  If you don’t get the item, you have the option of trying your luck the next day, or you can bribe the ghost 50L to cough up the item you so desperately need.

If you’re into chances, and prefer free things, you have ten chances to win the free thing from the ghost.

Avatar Bizarre is thrilled to be a part of this event, and has come up with something kind of spooky:  The Monster Feet Slippers.  The version available for Hocus Pocus is limited edition made strictly for the event.  This version will disappear after the event, so if you want it, you’ll be taking your chances that the ghost is in a good and giving mood!

AB-Monster-Feet-Hocus-Pocus

If you prefer not to take your chances, there will be an additional release in the store.  The Monster Feet Slippers with Color HUD will be available for 175L.  This pair includes an eight color HUD, rigged for the default avatar food, and rigged for SLink feet versions, plus an unrigged version for those who prefer to resize/reposition things.  Both sets of feet being released are materials enhanced, 100% original mesh.
