Horrorfestive and Gothmas and Krissmuss, Oh My! Part II

AB-Nightshade-Boots-Purple
As I sit here during Stormageddon 2014, which has dumped half a year’s rainfall on Northern California, yet is still just “a drop in the bucket” for ending the drought (can I sucker punch those news talking head people for saying these things?), and a very sleepy cat in my lap wearing the Cone of Shame, I believe it’s time to let you guys in on some more sneak previews and whatnot.

Gothmas by Gaslight will begin on December 15 on The Cursed Sim in Second Life.  A landmark will be forthcoming, just as soon as it’s released.

Avatar Bizarre has a number of brand new items coming out for Gothmas, including these boots.  Nightshade boots are available in a bunch of different colors including traditional Goth Black.  They’re unrigged, which means you can resize them as needed.  These are great for men and for women, and will hopefully fit under a variety of different creator’s pants legs.  Cost is 99L/pair.

But wait, there’s more!

Horrorfestive has begun.  You can find it located >>> right here <<<.  This is a charity event, designed to help raise money for a very wonderful person, who is suffering from a rather insidious debilitating condition.  You can read about it here.

Avatar Bizarre is a late addition to the festival.  I saw the word go out that the organizer was looking for someone to fill in for another merchant who had to back out at the last minute.  The requirements for the festival stated at least one new item was needed for a 100% donation to the charity.  Luckily, I had been hard at work on another pair of boots.  So…Introducing the PANZERMENSCH boots!

These are unrigged boots, as well, and are available in seven colors.  Please talk to me privately if you’re interested in the rigged version.  The cost on these is 99L/pair.

And then there was Twisted Krissmuss (you can find a list of participating merchants and slurls here).

I’ve already talked about the Really Abominable Snow Beast,   But what you may not know is I’ve made a stunningly Christmassy gown.  It’s rigged mesh with a fitted mesh version included, and it’s available in several colors.  Introducing the Noelle Gown, which is transfer, and only 100L for the duration of Krissmuss!

I think this is about it for now.  Enjoy your holiday and stay tuned for more fun stuff to be announced!

Holiday Season Brings a Cornucopia of New Things – Horrorfestive, GxG, Twisted Krissmuss, Etc… Part 1

AB-Morelia

The Holiday season has blundered into our lives once again, and bludgeoned us with all the usual malarkey involving stuff and things and junk and stuff.  Of course, folks in Second Life are not immune to such shenanigans, and merchants are all over the creating opportunities like bees to honey (hey I’m being G-Rated here).

I have been busy peppering Avatar Bizarre with new things, both for general new releases, and for all the various events I’ve signed up for.

The first thing to tell you about, oh my droogs and devotchkas, are the Morelia eyes.
Morelia veridis is the Latin name for the Green Tree Python.  This snake hatches out yellow, red, or brown, and eventually turns emerald green as an adult.  It is non-venomous and diurnal, meaning it’s active during the day, if you can call a snake coiled up in a cinnamon bun of verdant rodent terror “active”.  The Morelia eyes are based on the python’s slit-pupil orbs, and are available in ten colors.  Each set contains three pairs of prim eyes (full bright, normal, and glow), two sets of mesh eyes (normal and full bright), and a pair of system eyes.  All are copy/modify.  These are currently available inworld at the main store location, plus a few pairs at Horrorfestive, which runs for the next couple of weeks in a sim full of horror-inspired items for the holidays.  You can also find them on the marketplace.  The cost for each set is 75L.

These will be great for drow and other elven beings, faerie folk, vampires, draconians, and lycanthropes.

I’ve already mentioned the Ozymandias, to be released for Gothmas by Gaslight, in a previous blog post.  What you don’t know is there are more things to be had at Gothmas by Gaslight!

AB-Lucretia

The Lucretia gown, named after that Sisters of Mercy song we all know and love, is rigged mesh, and will be available in several colors for Gothmas.  It features a velvety skirt with a satin overlay, materials enhanced.  Gothic Victorian is all the rage in some circles, and you’ll be able to get your gown once Gothmas opens on December 15.

And just for fun…

The Really Abominable Snowbeast is a rigged avatar available for 100L during Twisted Krissmuss.  He’s available on the marketplace and inworld at the main store location.  As you can see by the little size chart, he’s a bit taller than a regular Second Life Avatar.  He also comes with his own mesh Santa Hat for flavor.

Alas, my droogs and devotchkas, I have run out of room to tell you more.  Holiday Season Stuffs Part the Second to commence shortly.

And don’t forget to visit Avatar Bizarre for Twisted Krissmuss, Gothmas by Gaslight, and Horrorfestive!

Dancing Through a Gothic Wonderland

Once Halloween comes to a screeching halt, all Hell breaks loose as we gear up for one of the biggest holiday events in Second Life:  Gothmas!  Whatmas?  Gothmas!  It’s that black and romantic time when all the darklings come out of the woodwork and celebrate in a weird and wonderful way.  We don our goth apparel and dance to the ethereal carols of Pretentious, Moi?, Sisters of Mercy, Imperative Reaction, and Thoushaltnot.

Gothmas by Gaslight is nigh, and as you wander the hallowed streets of the cursed countryside, you will be regaled with many fine Gothic wares from a wide swath of merchants across the Second Life grid.

It’s time once again to give those blackened blue eyes an advance look at what’s coming up from Avatar Bizarre during this most sacred of holidays.

“Ozymandias Female” – Modeled by Misha-Selene

The Ozymandias, named for the poem by Percy Bisshe Shelley is resplendent in six gorgeous jewel tones.  Although it is a simple outfit with leather pants, silken shirt, and waistcoat, you will look positively stunning in any of the hues.  This outfit is available for men and for women, and the sleeves and pants are materials enhanced.  Shoes are not included, but both pants and sleeves were made to accommodate SLink hands, and SLink boots.

Gothmas opens in December, and both versions of this outfit will be available for 250L.  Please try the demo before you buy.
